We are a volunteer organization, with an elected Board of Directors. Our members are property owners around Long Lake and friends of and visitors to Long Lake.
An informal, spring membership meeting is held with the annual lakeshore cleanup day, usually on the first Saturday in May (weather-permitting) and the official association annual meeting is held each August to update members on current issues, elect officers, and conduct any required business.
As issues warrant throughout the year, Board members may meet with government agencies or officials on behalf of the association. Member participation is always welcome. Working as a community, we stay informed, share ideas, and work together to have a greater voice regarding decisions that may affect us and Long Lake.
We are always looking for volunteers who are interested in learning more about the LLIA Board and possibly becoming a Board member in the future. Contact us at longlake.llia@gmail.com for more information
